This week Christine and I are going to see Mo run at London 2017 so not available after wed pm!!

Monday 7th August.  7pm Athletic Club.  Extending our core work just a little and no trail race to worry about from the day before. Maybe we could go for that next level, remember you only get out what you put in!!

Beginners group. Wk 11.  Andy has been telling me about your improvements and I could see by your response that you were pleased with have far you have progressed. Well done. It’s not far from your target run on the 21st August which I’m sure you will all manage with time to spare. Now you can relax a little and enjoy the next couple of weeks!! Maybe one or two of you would like to join us on a Wednesday night, it’s something you are all capable of doing and and there is nothing to worry about! I will look after you.!!
Wednesday 9th August.  7pm Athletic club.   You will like this one! 2 x 8 x 1min  / 3 mins between sets.   Remember, whatever your ability it’s all about pace judgement and finishing the session. Prepare the body and focus the mind. Trust in your training and believe in yourself.
Gala Dinner.   Gentle reminder. Please reply to Bev ASAP.  We need to get all the paper work out of the way before one or two of us go on holiday. It is going to be a great night and you are going to be surrounded by lots and lots of lovely people. Why would you not want to be present?  I was talking to the Boss of a local firm one day and I asked him why his lorry driver always looked so miserable. Without thinking he replied, some people just like to be miserable. Maybe he should have sent him harriers!!
Summer Handicap 16th  August. Scarborough.  I have a big list with lots of names on it so I take it you are all coming. Transport has been arranged and the restaurant booked. Duncan has worked out all the handicaps of which you all have a copy so you have your start times. If you do not have a handicap but would like to run then we will sort you out, it just means you will not be able to win the trophy because you have not done the required number of time trials to qualify. You can still run and also come and enjoy the supper. If you want to be part of the party and I do not have your name then you need to do something about it ASAP. I am not a mind reader!
