Rob’s Weekly Blog and Training Update w/c 19/10/15

Monday 19th October – 7pm – Thirsk School Gym

Sam Sanderson. Another very talented young member of the coaching squad.

Wednesday 21st October – 7pm – Thirsk Athletic Club.

Peter. It is important to keep our core work going and also be prepared to do around 15 minutes of effort. I’m hoping the rugby/tennis lights are on so we should be able to see quite well. You will probably manage quite well without a head torch. It will be still on if it is raining- I just put this last bit on just in case any Ripon runners were going to join us!!

I might be me missing something here but have you noticed how few members are at the training sessions for 7pm. Maybe it’s a new modern thing I haven’t quite grasped yet but could we not get started just that little bit earlier ( on time will do!!) Please. Especially for us older ones who just actually like being on time.

Don’t forget. This Sunday. 18th October. Clay Bank West. 10.30 start. This week promised to be dry but we have had quite a drop of rain. You will need a shoe with some grip. They tell me the view is quite well worth looking at so maybe this time I will make the effort to look. Take care and enjoy it.

Wednesday 28th October,. There are still places on the coach for the training session at Linton RAF but put your names down ASAP as the coach is filling up fast. Stop watch Steve is calling it a training session with a twist and also a supper so don’t delay.

Well that’s it then!. You will have to put up with me in the driving seat once again for another year. Thank you for the tremendous support last night at the AGM and a big thank you once again to all those who have helped in any way to pushing the club to levels we have already achieved. TSH has a brilliant hard working committee and we are all looking forward to working together on yet another busy and exciting year.

Reminder— Christmas dinner menus/money.
