7pm.  Race course entrance, Station Road   – SCHOOL NOT AVAILABLE TONIGHT

4 different speed groups with 3, 4 and 5 mile runs. Please group as last time, I (Duncan) will organise you if you are new to this session. 6 lights easy, steady run / 2 lights relaxed speed @ 5k pace.

Please let your group leader know if you leave the group before the finish. Hi-vis vest must be warn and keep to the Left Hand Side when approaching oncoming runners!

Social run from Thirsk and Sowerby leisure centre at 7pm (meet in foyer) on well-lit paths and pavements. Suitable for all abilities; there will be several stops to run back/regroup, no-one runs by themselves or gets left behind. New and returning Tuesday night runners always welcome.

Route to be decided on the night, around 5 miles. Please wear high vis if you have it.

7pm Kilburn Woods, Osgodby Bank Car park. Monthly 2 mile time trial.

First runners to start around 7.20pm. I am trying to give variety and to be fair to all types and groups of runner. Whether you prefer road or trail I would ask you to please try all the different venues. We are in a cold snap at the moment and it is also winter so please come expecting it to be a little on the chilly side. It will be dark and it could also be slippery underfoot so please run to the conditions. Life is all about experiencing different challenges and this could be one of them. Please warm up into the forestry so you get used to the light, or lack of it and also to the surface you are going to be running on. I would expect some of the stronger runners to arrive earlier and check out the course for windfalls etc.

7pm sharp, in Kilburn Woods, Osgodby car park. Dress for the weather and bring a headtorch.

Bring a clean jumper and some beer tokens for refreshments afterwards.

Message from the chair:

35 runners turned out last Sunday to run at Richmond. We have fantastic team spirit within Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers and it’s great to be apart of this club. Well done everyone
