Message from the head-coach:

At the moment I’m working with the National Parks at Sutton Bank with the view to planning and putting down a measured running trail of around two miles long. By spring it is hoped we could have a time trial both to the North and also to the South of Sutton Bank. The emphasis is to make it family friendly, accessible to all and also to encourage people into running and to visit this beautiful countryside where we all live and work. If all goes to plan it will also make another inspiring and motivational space for us  as a club to go and train. We are also looking at a slighter longer and even more ambitious trail in a different area but it could take quite a bit longer to make it happen. There are quite a lot of sensitive areas around Sutton Bank  which make it difficult to put things on the ground however if you have enthusiasm, ambition and the will to make things happen then getting money and permission are just another two obstacles that have to be overcome. I can’t think of any other more inspiring place to put down a running trail and I’m know all the members at the National Parks think exactly the same. Watch this space!!

see you soon, Rob
