Rob’s Weekly Blog W/C 07/10/13

Wednesday 9th Oct. 7pm Thirsk School. Sports Hall. 
It would be good if you could join both of these sessions as Sonja’s night ties in nicely with the Wednesday night session. You are mostly doing the exercises correctly, we just need to build on them. Last week was a better effort all round. For those who can’t come on the Wednesday but follow the programme, the outside
punishment is 4 x 4min/2 recovery.
 
Xcountry.  North Yorks/ South Durham league.   6th October Acklam. This will not cost you anything and you can pick your number up from your team captains ( or see me! I will also bring some club vests)  I know quite a few of you don’t like xcountry, mostly because of the time factor and also the boring nature of running around school football pitches. I remember someone saying this years ago and then complained we didn’t have a running track to train on.( I bet he trained on a treadmill) Once you tell your mind you don’t like anything you have already lost the battle!! Prepare the body and focus the mind and you can run anywhere.
 
AGM. Thirsk Athletic Club. 8.30PM. (after training) Please bring all your enthusiasm from the training sessions to the meeting then I’m sure we are going to have a successful night.
