Sonja is going on a new course this weekend. Be ready to be a guinea pig on Monday night!! It might be more press-ups.

Wednesday 19th Nov 7pm school. Sports Hall
More musical circuits with Greg.   Paul will have more burn outs organised I’m sure.
Outside. 2 x( 8 x 1min/ 30sec rec)  3 mins between sets.

Races:
Saturday 15th Nov  Cross country at Whitby.   If you like it tough, wet and windy then this is the place for you. It’s always windy and it’s always tough and in many ways it is the perfect course.

Sunday 16th Nov. Club Championship Race. Fell race.  Register in Commondale Pub. 10.30 start.  14K and 300 metres of climbing. Yes, this will also be wet and muddy and I’m just a little bit sad I can’t do it. Good luck to all those taking part and just go out and enjoy it.

Date for your diary!!   This is for those who have baby sitters etc.  The first 2 Mondays in December (1st, 8th) will be held in the Sports Hall at 8 -9pm. Not the usual time.

CLUB KIT.     I now have some new vests and jackets so see me if you want either. I also have a broken dishwasher, broken toilet seat, a slow puncture on the ute and a left ankle that is not letting me get out and do some running!! Things can only get better.

THE LAKES. Next week we all ascend on Buttermere. I’ve heard we have taken all 23 rooms at the Bridge Hotel so it’s going to be all nice and cosy. We start with a steady run(or limp) around the lake at 3.15 on the Friday afternoon. Just to mention the Sat pm stroll over Honister Pass in the dark, please make sure you bring plenty of batteries. They are a bit like hens teeth and tv’s in the hotel and you will need them. Our two mountain guides, Stewart ( all the way from Hong Kong)  and Gavin( from the lakes) will be with us and once again all those who come forward will be successfully helped across. I hear Christine may be taking the challenge this year. Lets hope we don’t get any snow because we may have to run all the way back as well.
Have a good weekend,
From a not so much limping Rob
