Mon 13th January.  Thirsk School. Gym 7pm.
Sune is back to Uni (thank you for helping out))but we very much enjoyed her session last week. I’m still aching but I blame the Pork pie and Christmas cake!!

Wednesday 15th January. Thirsk School Sports Hall 7pm.
Outside group.  2 x(6x 1min/1 rec) 3mins between sets. If you want to join this group it is best if you have a head torch. Don’t forget to try both the running indoors and outdoors
I did notice in both the gym and sports hall this week there was quite a bit of soil on the floor during training. Please try and leave your outdoor shoes on the outside. Those coming in, wipe your shoes— Please.

Xcountry. Hartlepool. This Sunday is the first Club Championship race of the year. This is one of the best country courses in the winter series. It has ups and downs, ins and outs. Fast bits, slow bits and it will also be very, very wet. You will require spikes and studded shoes. Perfect!! Only the strong will survive and ideal for strong winter training. You will enjoy it. Make sure you bring warm, dry clothing to put on before and after you run.  Please wear your club vest and go out and enjoy it.

A small group of us are going to run /race in the Mountains in Austria in early September 2014. To the left and up a bit from Innsbruck in a village called Telfes in the Stubia valley. It is 3000′ asl. and the race will go up to 6000’ish. You can use the cable car to come down and it is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. If you want to know more then just give me a nudge.

See you soon,
Rob
