The MENS ‘A’ Team (4 to count) finishing 1st, scoring 24 points 77 points ahead of NYM AC. The ‘B’ & ‘C’ Teams finished in 4^th & 7^th respectively.

The LADIES Teams finished 1^st , 2^nd & 3^rd with 18, 36 & 46 points respectively.

‘A fantastic run by Sarah Tunstall of Acorn saw her take over 3 minutes off the course record.In the men's race it was a tight finish between two who had not previously recorded a victor. Gary Dunn of Thirsk & Sowerby went on to win ahead of Chris Miller from Harrogate. The current record holder Charlie Stead was third just starting to return to form after an injury. Gary Scott of Wednesday AC. just pipped William Hayward in the Junior Men's section.’

In the Northern Runner Winter Fell Series (after 9 races and only 2 races to go), Alan Wikeley and Angela Hall both lead their Category (Vet60 & V40 respectively), while Pat Kirby, Maureen Gibbs & William Hayward all lie in 2^nd place in their Category (Vet 45, V50 & Junior men Category respectively). Richard Hall is in 3^rd place in the Senior Men’s Category.
