There was an excellent turnout of members for the HDSRL Handicap at Ripon last week, following another very successful season of well organised events.  Duncan Fothergill, a loyal and hard working club member, deserved his 2nd place, with, in finishing order,  Martyn Coy 16th,  Faith Coy 17th, Ian Crane 31st, Claire Miller 60th, Ben McIntosh 74th, Matt Jones 88th, Brian Smith, 113th, Gillian Crane 116th, Stephan Tomaszewski 121st, Tracy Holden 155th, Chris Wordsworth 160th, David Fawkes 166th, Geoff Bullock 172nd, Ken Wood 180th , Rob Lickley 198th, Sharon Keegan 200th, Liz Wordsworth 210st, Liz Stephenson 202nd, Bryan Miller 210th, Craig Ivey 211th, Andy Butcher 212th, Charlotte Wilton 214th, Ian Codling 219th, Phillip Craig 226th, Graham Robinson 230th, Bev Davies 231st and Josh Fothergill, nursing an injury, 240th.

Presentations were made after the race for results over the season, with Josh Fothergill getting the award for 1st in the 15-17 age group and Graham Robinson 1st M60.  Well done, both.

It was a busy Park Run weekend, with Gary Dunn having a superb run to win at Fountains Abbey in a PB time 16.56.  Bryan Miller was 20th in 19.09, Matt Jones 26th in PB 19.41, Claire Miller 79th in 23.40, Martin Cummins 88th in  24.06, Ian Crane 113th in 25.11, Helen Goacher 121st in 25.27, Linda Bamforth 208th in 30.18, Paul Adams 210th in 30.21, Gillian Crane 215th in yet another PB 30.38, and Jane Cummins 256th out of 302 in 32.57.

At Northallerton, Joanne Richardson was 65th in 37.42 and sweeper, Phillip Craig 73rd in 40.13.

Peter Richardson tried out the Woodhouse Moor event, coming 160th out of 428 in 24.59, and Ian Codling was at the Aberdeen Park Run, coming 219th out of 252 in 32.58.
