Happy New Year.

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year Celebrations and that you are all keen to start training with renewed inspiration!!

Monday 6th January. School Gym 7pm.
Wednesday 8th January. School Sports Hall. 7pm.            
Outside   4x3min/1rec  –  Build slowly/ gently does it!
Sonja, Paul, Greg and myself ( and everyone else) vow to continue to motivate, encourage and hopefully inspire you all to greater things. The rest is up to you. The time to start is now, tomorrow is too late.
Good luck to all of you who are running the Yorkshire Cross Country on Saturday. Remember, this is serious stuff so go out there and do your best and do your club proud.

This is the time of year when you perhaps reflect on the races you did last year and plan what you might be doing this year. If you want to see the races you have done at a glance then do a Google search. tap in your name ie. Rob Burn Athlete profile. Click on, then you will get a list of all races you have done in the last few years and plot your progress. If you click on each race it will also give you a list of all runners in each race and so on.  Inspired yet??   It is easy to get out and train this weather. No excuses, just get out there and do it.

If I made New Year resolutions they would be to keep training as often as I can, eat out at least once a week and support the local economy, have more holidays and promise not to swear when my Tax Bill drops though the letter box. ( I bet the last one is the first to go.)
