The popular Jolly Holly Jog 10k took place at the weekend – an aid to recovery from the Christmas excesses!  Organised by Ripon Runners, on a beautiful Sunday morning, the mostly off-road  and definitely undulating course took place in and around the grounds of Fountains Abbey, where mud was a factor in places.  Ten Harriers were among the 607 finishers, Brett Edgeworth leading the way, 71st in 44.46 closely followed by Rob Lickley, 73rd in 45.00. Nicola Fearn was next, 178th in a very good 50.31,  Rebecca Hartley, improving all the time, 207th in 51.52,  Mandy Capell, in her first outing for the club, a very creditable 231st in 52.29,  Martin Cummins 237th in 52.53,  Chris Sykes 414th in 60.31,  Jane Cummins 515th in 67.10, Ian Codling 550th in 69.24 and Marian Codling 595th in 79.16.
