Rainton 10k - 29th
June 2008
This was the
latest race in the Blacksheep race series and also a club championship
race. The weather was just about perfect for this race. The route is
mainly flat with about a mile of off road running to endure. Gary Dunn
from Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers won the Race in 32 minutes and 36
seconds, In a close club battle behind was Richard Hall and Cameron
Choules with Richard getting the better of Cameron this time around.
Richard was the 2nd V40 runner and Hester Cox was 3rd in the V35
Ladies. Angela Hall 2nd in the V45 Ladies. The male team award was won by Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers.
