Hills Just Keep Coming

The hard but scenic Richmond Castle 10k at the weekend attracted 462 runners on an almost ideal morning for running.  Hills just keep coming, and Les Sutton-Haigh had another excellent race to finish 89th in 45.27 minutes.  Nik Sutton-Haigh is also going well and came 266th in 54.18, a personal best time for that race.  Newcomer David Stewart recorded a very creditable 333rd in 48.02, with Chris Sykes 369th in 60.53, Ian Codling 394th in 62.25 and Marian Codling 453rd in 71.27.
Alan Harman entered the Bridlington Half Marathon which, although longer is much less hilly, and was pleased with his time of 1.46.31,coming 290th out of the 773 entrants.
Arrangements are well in hand for the Thirsk 10 Road Race on Nov 20th, a flat course which lends itself to a good time, and information can be found about that and other club activities at  thirskandsowerbyharriers.co.uk.
