 HANDICAP RACING.

It takes a lot of strong will, dedication and sacrifice to do well in a Handicap race.

First of all you need to run really really slow in the run up races to the final race,

you may feel humiliated and ashamed at being beaten so easily but don't panic this

is a normal reaction and the feeling will soon pass. For added effect, cross training

at the local amateur dramatics class should improve your acting skills to make it appear

you really are tired and out of breath after the easy jog. A couple of races as above

should do the trick before the big day. THE FINAL. With all the hard work done,

it's now time for the easy part. Simply run as fast as you can knocking great big

unbelievable chunks out of your previous times. At the finish make out you are

totally astonished by your performance and not forgetting to say i don't know how

i managed that. I just felt good.

Billy says if Handicap racing was an Olympic event he would win a medal without

a doubt. Probably Silver . What do you mean Silver Billy ?

I'm sure Gold would of gone to Rob Burn From Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers,

He's got it all when it comes to handicap racing, that guy is unbeatable.
