Bawtry Tracks

After many discussions and amendments, the Wetherby 10k results are now available, the final race in the Yorkshire Dales Series.  Eleven Harriers were involved, on an afternoon which was very windy, although the wind was not too much of a factor during the fairly flat rural race.  Once again, Paul Atkinson lead the club runners home, 71st in 40.55 minutes.  Brett Edgeworth, struggling to find time to train, came 88th in 42.05 with Lorraine Hiles, excellent as usual, 125th in 43.41, Alison Calvert 172nd in 45.31, Miles Bradshaw, making a rare appearance, 269th in 48.16,  Joe Reynard, improving all the time, 312th in 49.12,  Fiona Needham 426th in 52.33,  Fran Jeffery 444th in 53.08,  Ian Codling 662nd in 60.08,  Sue Reynard 681st in 61.07 and Marian Codling 760th in 65.28   On the same day,  Alan Harman entered the Bawtry 7 near Doncaster, a pleasant rural, mainly off-road race over grass tracks and forest footpaths and finished in a time of 56.33.

Greetings from Canada!  Back to normal next week.
Cheers,
Marian
